So last night I had to run to the store to get some cider vinegar to finish the potato salad I was making for dinner, and while I was there I got some rolls and decided to get something for dessert.
Every time I go in there I see these *yummy* looking danishes in the bakery, and have never bought them because they are peanut butter, which I'm not terribly fond of. But they look so good - more like maple-frosted danishes. So in my optimistic insanity I picked them up last night and proceeded to the check-out, thinking about how yummy they looked, even though they clearly say "Peanut Butter" on them.
Bubblehead and I get the kids tucked into bed and settle down to watch Survivor and I have my hot cup of tea and my "peanut butter" danish. I take a bite...
"Huh", I say. Bubblehead looks at me.
"It's peanut butter." He laughs at me.
And I didn't finish it - it wasn't yummy - it was peanut butter.
They really shouldn't make peanut butter frosted danishes look so much like maple frosted danishes. Do they really think writting "peanut butter" on the package is enough?
