My favorite was always "It's such a shame and a tragedy, that even the most close-knit family can be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of wild dogs".
Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someones neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing.
I used to have the book that all of the thoughts in there. Was was one about a little boy who asked why it rained and it was because God was crying because something the bad the boy did. I don't remember. I do love SNL though!
One of my favorites:
"If you ever find yourself falling off a building, let yourself go all limp, like a dummy, then people will try to catch you because HEY! FREE DUMMY!
LOL ;)
If trees could scream would we still chop them down? Probably, if they screamed all the time. And for no good reason.
Whatshisname and I still laugh about that one.
If you ever drop your keys in a river of molten lava, let 'em go, because man, they're gone.
I have three of his Deep Thoughts books, and I would read them with friends and we would laugh our asses off.
Incidently, if you laugh a lot..chances are you aren't depressed. I have had depression since I was 10 and when I get into a really bad bout of depression I don't laugh, giggle, or even smile. In fact, I don't get dressed, out of bed, shower or eat. So...if you can laugh while your "depressed," you probably aren't depressed. You're probably not all that sad, either. Just trying to get attention to me!
