I know, I know. But Ella's been out of school, and I haven't been home but just a few days in the last two and a half weeks. I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, and I want to say thank you to all of you who have asked about me. Ella's back in school this week, and hopefully I can get back into my routines.
I'm planning a garage sale for two weeks from now. I just hate doing them, but I've decided to clean out a lot of the baby stuff I have, so I'm hoping to make some good money with that. Ella wants to set up a lemonade stand - she's so excited about that!
My next big project is a treasure hunt that my brother and I are putting together for our big "Pirate Party". I can't talk about it of course - it's all very hush hush, but I can tell you it's going to be fabulous! All of you reading this that will be involved should start getting excited.
I've also been thrown back into my genealogy this last week after my mom was contacted by a distant relative looking for some information on our Oxley line. I really do enjoy doing genealogy. If only I could turn the kids to the "off" position for a few hours a day. (Does anyone know how to do that?)
Other plans for our summer include a big family camping trip, and a trip to Yellowstone. (It's right here in our back yard - we have excuse for not going!) Bubblehead's dad recently found us a great deal on a little tent trailer, so we are excited for lots of camping this summer. I use to be of the mind that if you didn't sleep in a tent on the ground, you weren't camping. The adult me, however, has wised up, and now I believe the camper is the way to go!
So now you are caught up. I will try to take better care of my little blog here over the summer, but if I lose track, just shoot me an email - I always enjoy hearing from all of you! Comment here with your plans for the summer - I think I have two weekends yet unaccounted for, so I need some ideas. :)
